A Fish’s Blog
I finally decided to join the “blogosphere” of people who have web logs (blogs). The irony is that I’ve set up several other blogs for various purposes, but never my own — just didn’t seem to have time. Or maybe I didn’t want to be committed to having to make updates. Afterall, a having a blog means you have to feed it. Yet I got inspired a few weeks ago to take the plunge.
So, I’m on my way to a conference on “emerging technologies” in San Diego. And while blogs may have been considered “emerging” I suspect that would not longer be the case, even if it’s a founding part of the whole “Web 2.0″ concept. I’m looking forward to hearing some interesting ideas which will give me new insight and inspiration for my work.
I’m a little disappointed with the San Diego forcast — highs in the upper 60′s all week, chance of rain. I was hoping to experience some Southern California sunshine. Oh, well. I guess it’s just not Florida.
Stay tuned… I will be posting updates from the conference.
