Campus Crusade for Christ
Campus Crusade for Christ International is defined by a simple mission: building spiritual movements everywhere so that everyone knows someone who truly follows Jesus.
Two became 27,000
In 1951, Bill and Vonette Bright began sharing Jesus’ message with students on the campus of UCLA. God blessed their efforts, and the movement quickly grew to other campuses. Over the years God raised up new endeavors under the banner of Campus Crusade for Christ to reach people in many different walks of life.
Today over 27,000 full time staff and many more volunteers working with Campus Crusade for Christ ministries in 190 countries. The central of the movement hasn’t changed since it started: fulfilling the Great Commission, just as Jesus told his followers to do.
The Campus Ministry is still growing. Among the 70 specialized ministries are FamilyLife, the Josh McDowell Ministry, Athletes in Action, Student Venture (high school), and The JESUS Film.
